In 1991 some hikers, high up in the Alps, discovered a body frozen in the ice. They immediately assumed they had come upon the remains of an unfortunate hiker from some years previous, whose body had been preserved. Little did they know they had stumbled upon the remains of a man who had lived and died over 5,000 years ago!
The man is now known as Otzi the Iceman, as he was found in the location called the Ötztal Valley. This rare and remarkable find provides unusual insight into ancient times. Knowing the date of Otzi’s death allows us to place him on the timeline, and we find that Otzi and ancient Bible history complement each other rather nicely.
I invite you to listen in on this episode as Jennifer and I discuss an unusual piece of history which relates to Bible/science research; an amazing story of discovery with numerous intriguing applications.
Also, don’t miss Helen’s interview of my wife Jennifer! Helping to communicate the message of The Biblical Chronologist is a passion of Jennifer’s, demonstrating the reality of the ancient Old-Testament accounts of the Bible, and sharing potential life-saving information with those who are suffering. She is a very busy lady with our crew and everything we have going on.
She shares some memories from over the years, shares some about our family, and our day-to-day life. I think you will enjoy this little glimpse “behind-the-scenes”!
