Our last two podcasts contain what you might call an “atomic bomb” in the world of Christian apologetics. This new podcast, along with Part 1, discusses in detail the historicity of the biblical manna account.
I will boldly state that there has never been a discovery so evidently demonstrating the validity and accuracy of the Old Testament accounts in the real world.
If you have not listened to last month’s podcast, I encourage you to do that first, and then come back and listen to this continuing discussion.
Following last month’s introduction of the manna discovery, we discuss more of the specific details of manna which are pointed out by the biblical text. Discussion points include the melting point of manna, the taste of manna, how it was gathered and used, how it kept the Israelites from starvation, and much more.
As a result of the manna discovery, it is inevitable that the tables will eventually be sharply turned in the halls of academia. Although it does take “big ships” a long time to turn around, things are never going to be the same. Quoting from the dedication of the manna book: “To all who would deny the historical accuracy of the biblical Exodus narrative. Checkmate.”
